1.1 Young Researcher Award
The JCR Young Researcher Award is an annual program aimed at inspiring young researcher to significantly contribute to information-based complexity in different research domains. Through this program, efforts and hard work of researchers are to be recognized and appreciated, encouraging therefore new and unique innovations.
Who is Eligible?
Students, Ph.D. candidates and young researchers (with max. 8 years from their Ph.D. degree), under the age of 35 at the time of first submission.
They shall be first authors of one Research Article or Review Article published online between January and December of each year.
Criteria
The Editorial board is entitled to select the best paper. During the selection phase, originality, novelty and impact of the article’s content is to be taken into consideration. All published papers shall be automatically added to the list of papers to evaluate. Authors are free to choose any domain-related topic with no restrictions regarding the structure or content of the paper since it might contain design considerations, case-study projects, experimental findings, modeling proposals and solutions and more.
How to apply?
At the time of the first submission of a Research Article or a Review Article, the first author shall be requested to submit, among other mandatory documents, a cover letter declaring and indicating the position of the “young researcher”.

The winner of this award shall be announced every month of January and will appear in the journal website.

1.2. Best Paper Award
The JCR Best Paper Award is an annual program aimed at acknowledging excellent research and writing performed by authors in their field of work. Authors are judged to have written the best paper appearing in the journal.
Who is Eligible?
All authors of one Research Article or Review Article published online between January and December of each year, with no limits regarding the number or age of the concerned authors.
Criteria
The Editorial Board is entitled to select the best paper. During the selection phase, originality, novelty and impact of the article’s content are to be taken into consideration. Authors are free to choose any domain-related topic with no restrictions regarding the structure or content of the paper since it might contain design considerations, case-study projects, experimental findings, modeling proposals and solutions and more.
How to apply?
All published papers shall be automatically added to the list of papers to evaluate. No further actions are required.

1.3. Best Reviewer Award
The JCR Best Reviewer Award is an annual program aimed at acknowledging excellent work and efforts performed by reviewers to review and referee submitted manuscripts. Growth, quality and integrity of JCRBAES are promoted by anonymous reviewers who are extremely appreciated by the Editorial Board for their time and constructive experience.
Who is Eligible?
All the reviewers working in JCRBAES shall be automatically added to the list of potential winners.
Criteria
The Editorial Board is entitled to select the “Best Reviewer”. During the selection phase, completeness of the reviewed reports, the timeline and the number of submitted reviews are to be taken into consideration.
How to apply?
No actions are required for active reviewers.

2.Distinctions
2.1 Most Cited Paper Award
“JCR Most Cited Paper Award” shall be granted to the published paper within the past 2 years that attracts the most citations. Citations of papers are based on data from SCI and/or Google Scholar that tracks the journal since its first publication.

2.2. Most Viewed Paper Award
“JCR Most Viewed Paper Award” shall be granted to the most paper that has been downloaded within the past one year. The act of downloading papers is based on data from JCR journal.
