The Financial Impact of COVID-19 on video communication sector

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this paper is to explore the financial impact of COVID-19 pandemic period on the communication sector, namely Zoom INC. Based on financial data, from 2018 till 2021, this study employed different financial proxies such as solvency, liquidity, profitability, and capital structure. These financial ratios showed how the pandemic influenced one of the well-known companies in the communication sector. The results reveal that Zoom’s success was aided enormously by the COVID-19 pandemic, and it has risen to fame owing to strict social distancing measures.
